For each of these statements, rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10.  1 means this needs lots of work, and 10 means I have this NAILED!

1 = this needs LOTS of work, or I haven't even started yet.
4 = I’ve given this some attention.

I. Business Clarity Evaluation

1. I know exactly who my ideal customer/client is (and it's not everyone).

2. I have a clear understanding of the problem my ideal customer/client has that we can solve.

3. I have seen other companies making a profit in my niche/industry.

4. I am clear about what makes my business unique when compared to my competitors.

II. Money Evaluation

1. I have specific projected sales (revenue) goals for the next 12 months.

2. I have multiple revenue streams and understand the impact of each on my business.

3. I have projected expenses for operating my business.

4. I review my financial statements monthly.

III. Visibility (Marketing) Evaluation

1. I am collecting e-mails and building a database of prospects.

2. I am using social media and other online marketing strategies to increase my visibility.

3. I have a customer referral system in place.

4. I have systems in place to track all of my marketing metrics (list size, followers, conversions) and I use this information to make adjustments to my marketing strategy

IV. Sales Evaluation

1. I focus daily on revenue producing activities.

2. I have a well defined sales process that is working.

3. I know what my prospects are looking for and have a message that speaks to that.

4. I have "low hanging fruit" strategies to bring in income when I need it.

V. Team/Employee Evaluation

1. I have written job descriptions for my team and/or employee positions.

2. I have completed employment files for employees and/or contract laborers.

3. I have weekly or bi-weekly team/employee meetings.

4. Our annual review process is effective.

VI. Systems Evaluation

1. I have SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) in place for the processes in my business.

2. I have a defined customer/client intake process.

3. I have automated systems in place for billing, collections and other processes.

4. I have automated systems to build an online presence for my business.

VII. Your Commitment Level (0 = not very committed, 10 = I am very committed!)
